What Graduo is

Graduo turns a student's own courses — a PDF, a photo of their notes, a YouTube video, or plain text — into a personalized study path with short lessons, quizzes, flashcards and six mini-games. Its AI tutor, the Lab, is available for math, sciences, history, literature and more.

The core design rule is simple and non-negotiable: the tutor never hands out the answer. It guides the student with questions and hints until they find it themselves. In homework help, it teaches how to do the exercise; it does not do it for them.

Who operates it

Graduo is operated by Graduo, an entity in formation in France. The app is published on the Apple App Store and runs on the web at graduo.app; a native Android app is in preparation.

The learning principle behind it

Graduo is built on two well-established findings from learning research. First, active recall: you remember far more by testing yourself than by rereading — which is why the app turns every lesson into questions. Second, the productive struggle of finding an answer yourself makes it stick, which is why the tutor guides instead of solving.

We designed the product around these principles rather than around engagement tricks. There are no ads on any plan, and the progression system uses XP and streaks to support a study habit, not to trap attention.

How we handle your data

• Data is hosted in Europe and Graduo is GDPR compliant.
• Your interactions are not used to train third-party AI models.
• Parents and legal guardians can access and request deletion of a minor's account.
