Can you earn money as a student?
Yes. From age 16, you can earn money by making short study videos for Graduo on your own TikTok or Instagram account. You earn in two ways: a fixed fee for each selected video, written into your agreement before you start, and 20% of what Graduo receives from every subscription taken with your creator code, for its first 3 months. People who use your code get 20% off their first period. You don't need followers or to show your face.

How much can you earn? The rules, in plain words.
No income promises: what you earn depends on your selected videos and on the people who subscribe with your code. Here is exactly how it is calculated.
A fixed fee per selected video
The amount depends on the format. It is written into your agreement before your first video, along with the bonus if a video gets a lot of views.
20% of the subscriptions from your code
When someone subscribes with your code, you get 20% of what Graduo keeps after taxes and the store's cut, on every payment in their first 3 months. For a yearly plan, it's 20% of the first payment.
20% off for your audience
People who use your code pay 20% less for their first period (week, month or year). A real reason to share your code.
A worked example
- A student in France takes the monthly plan on the App Store with your code.
- Month 1: they pay €14.49. After VAT and Apple's commission, Graduo keeps about €8.45. You get €1.69.
- Months 2 and 3: they pay €17.99. Graduo keeps about €10.49. You get €2.10 a month.
- Your total: €5.89 for this student, on top of your video fees. With the yearly plan at €39.99, you get €4.67 in one go.
Rounded amounts, calculated with French VAT (20%) and Apple's current commission (30% of the price before tax). On the web the store's cut is smaller, so your share is a little higher. Subscription earnings are paid on the 15th of the month after next (October purchases on 15 December), once the refund window has passed.

- Get it right: every video is reviewed with you before it goes up
- Clearly label the partnership on every paid video (for example #ad), as the law requires
- Be yourself: no fake reviews, no promises of good grades

- Show you in the app what your code has earned, without ever telling you who subscribed

FAQ
Is this a legit way for a teenager to make money?
Yes. Applying is free, you never pay anything, and the pay, formats and rights are written in an agreement before your first video. If you are under 18, a parent signs it too.
How many followers do I need?
None. What matters is that you explain well.
Does it cost anything?
No, nothing. Money goes from Graduo to you, never the other way round.
How much does it pay?
Two parts: a fixed fee per selected video, written into your agreement before you start, and 20% of what Graduo receives, after taxes and the store's cut, on the subscriptions taken with your code during their first 3 months. Example: a monthly App Store subscription taken in France earns you €5.89 over 3 months.
What is a creator code?
A code in your name, for example LEA, with its link graduo.app/app/?ref=LEA. People who use it get 20% off their first period, and every subscription taken with it counts for you.
When do I get paid?
By bank transfer on the 15th of each month. Video fees and bonuses go out with the next transfer. Subscription earnings are paid a month later (October purchases on 15 December), once the refund window has passed.
Can I do it alongside school?
Yes. You film on your own schedule, and the pace is agreed together when you are selected.
Do I have to declare the money I earn?
It depends on your country. Check with a parent or your local tax office. The written agreement states exactly what you are paid.
I'm under 18, can I take part?
From 16, with written consent from a parent or legal guardian, who also signs the agreement with us.
Do I have to show my face?
No. You can film your screen, your notes or your hands, or just do the voice.
Where do I post?
On your own TikTok or Instagram account. The exact format is agreed together when you're selected.
Who owns the videos?
You post on your own account. What Graduo may do with your videos is written down in the agreement, before you start.
What if I make a mistake in a video?
Every video is reviewed with you before it goes up. If a mistake still slips through, we fix it together.
What if I'm not selected?
You can apply again later, with new videos.
